Water Sports in Derbyshire and the Peak District

Sailing and other water sports are available on many Derbyshire and Peak District waters including Carsington Water, Ogston, Combs. Bottoms, Torside, Staunton Harold, Errwood and Foremark reservoirs and the Rother Valley Country Park. Some Derbyshire and Peak District rivers are suitable for canoeing, with local clubs and outdoor pursuits centres offering courses run by qualified instructors. Take care to check out the rivers first as some can be quite dangerous.
