Whaley Water Weekend (W3) - Since the millennium, there has been a two day festival in
Whaley Bridge with events related to water. In 2006, for example,
local children performed a musical version of Whaley Bridge's successful
struggle against the Victorian railway bosses to block access to the
main well and water supply. This year promises to be as fantastic as ever
with boat trips, fun fair, music, craft stalls, model railway exibit
etc. W3 really is a grand family day out. Tel: 01663 733224 |
